The Genesee County Young Democrats (GCYD) have announced their endorsement of Flint Mayoral Candidate Dayne Walling.

"I'm excited to have the endorsement of the GCYD, " said Walling. "A large part of the change we need for Flint is offering young people real opportunities so we can keep and grow our home grown talent rather than see them leave for Chicago or Boston."

"We have to change Flint so we can create jobs in new manufacturing and healthcare, improve neighborhoods, and ensure we have great schools for all students. Young people have a role to play in making these changes reality."
