For some, heading into a holiday weekend means slowing down. Not. Dayne. He's got a full schedule of reaching out and talking to residents about his ideas on how we can work together to change Flint.

Today, Brian Willingham is hosting a meet and greet for Dayne at the Brown Sugar Cafe on S. Saginaw from 4:30 to 6:30. Stop in if you have a chance to hear Dayne's ideas on how we can bring new jobs to Flint strengthen neighborhoods, and improve our schools.

After that, Dayne will be heading over to speak to the College Cultural Neighborhood Association meeting. The meeting runs from 7:00 to 9:00. The College Cultural Neighborhood Association meets in MCC's Regional Technology Center auditorium, RTC 1005. Free parking.

On Friday, Dayne will have an early start to his day again. This time he'll be helping Flint Central celebrate their outstanding effort raising money and collecting food donations for the food bank. WJRT Ch. 12's early morning broadcast will be there to congratulate Central's students, staff and alumni on their tremendous work to help those in need.
