Thank You! Working for Change Rally

I just wanted to thank everyone who came out to our big announcement this afternoon. To see so many folks take time out of their day was incredibly encouraging. It emphasized my point that we can do amazing things when we come together as a whole community.

Our Working for Change rally proved the cynics and the critics wrong. Progress is possible in Flint when we bring together the community, government and business. The failed policies of the past can not be recycled when so much is at stake. It is time for a 21st Century City Hall that works every day to attract new jobs, improve all neighborhoods, and strengthen all schools. Here we go!

Rally for Change

Dear Friends,

Here we are on the verge of a great endeavor again in Flint. With the city's deficit booming and economy stalled, Flint needs a change more than ever. This upcoming May election could not come at a better time.I believe that this is our time. I hope you will join me on Thursday for our first Working for Change rally and for my official announcement. Trust me, it will be one to remember. This will be the moment when we look past the old battles of the past and come together around a fresh vision. We will rally around our hope for Flint to have better jobs, neighborhoods and schools for all of its residents.

Working for Change Rally~ Everyone is Welcome ~

Thursday, February 26 11:30 am at the Flint YMCA411 E. Third St., FlintHoop City Gym
We will have free food and music, so please come spend your lunch hour with me. We will have ways you can volunteer to help on the campaign too.

As always, thank you for your support and for all the work you do.

Sincerely,

Dayne Walling

Working for Change Every Day

Dayne and the Walling for Mayor team are hard at work every day working for change. We are visiting the neighborhoods of Flint and gathering petition signatures in every ward of the city.

We are also busy here at Walling headquarters making calls, reaching out to Flint citizens, and organizing more field teams.

If you would like to get involved, contact us at 233-9190 or email us at votewalling@gmail.com.

Good Times at Good Beans

Thanks to everyone that made it to Good Beans Cafe tonight for an informal discussion of Flint's future. Dayne looks forward to talking with you much more in the weeks ahead.
And a special thanks to everyone that took a petition to circulate. If you missed the event tonight at Good Beans but would like to sign or circulate a petition, please call or stop by the campaign office at 940 South Grand Traverse (233-9190).

Be sure to check the
calendar page often to learn of upcoming Walling campaign events.

Mobilize!

Get involved in the fight for Flint's future today by signing and circulating a petition to get Dayne Walling on the May 5th mayoral primary ballot. Join me at Good Beans this Friday

I was excited by the response from my last email and I want to talk with more people about moving Flint forward. I will be at Good Beans Cafe at 5pm on Friday, February 20th. I hope you will join me for an informal discussion about the future of our city. Bring your questions, your concerns, and your hopes for Flint.

Sincerely,

Dayne Walling
