Putting People First at City Hall
Putting people first at City Hall means treating everyone with respect and listening to all
points of view. It means putting City Hall to work for all the people of Flint and making the
departments of city government accountable to the people that have to live with the consequences
of their actions or inactions.

Great Start
Our children deserve opportunities to learn and grow. Our senior citizens need some place to go that connects them to the larger community. Putting people first means opening our closed community centers and filling them with positive programming that serves everyone's needs.
- Community Centers Plus: Establish a citywide network of community and senior centers in cooperation with schools and churches
- Great Start: Invest 1% of the general fund into city services that directly improve the life chances of young children
- Grade Your Government: Allow citizens to rate city services and post annual report cards for departments
